You will be met at Mombasa airport and transferred to Diani Beach. This area has a diverse reef life and the last few years have seen a huge rise in the number of whale sharks. There is an opportunity for the group to speak with the researchers from the East Africa Whale Shark Trust (EAWST) to learn more about the research that is being conducted in the area. On the fourth day you will take a trip to Chale Island which is renowned for its whale shark sightings.

Departing Diani Beach you will head north towards Mombasa. There are a number of reefs and wrecks to explore but the famous Vuma Cliffs should not be missed. These caves are accessed from a sandy bottom at 20m and inside lurk huge groupers and snappers.

From Mombasa you leave the coast and travel inland to the Tsavo East National Park. After freshening up, you will head into the African bush on safari to try and find the Big Five.

Depart for Mombasa where you will go on a short city tour before transferring to the airport to catch your flight home.
