Catch your overnight flight to Dar es Salaam where you will take a short 'hop' on a light aircraft to Mafia Island.
Mafia Island Lodge is situated on the south east side of the island and is within easy reach of the best dive sites. The lodge has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and provides excellent value for money.
Diving normally takes place within the enclosed area of Chloe Bay but when conditions allow, it is possible to access the more remote and less sheltered dive sites. The reefs are in excellent condition and full of life. They range from 5 - 27m in depth so suit a range of qualifications.
Chole Wall and Coral Gardens provide excellent night dives where the previously quite coral opens up to feed on the plankton rich waters.
