Barra Lodge is set on the edge of a picturesque beach, 27km from Inhambane. It is bordered by the Inhambane estuary on one side and the Indian Ocean on the other. The lodge is set among groves of coconut trees and is centred around a large swimming pool.

Set just back from the beach are the thatch and reed casitas which provide comfortable but basic accommodation. Each casita has two beds and en suite facilities. All bedding and mosquito nets are supplied and the rooms are serviced daily.

Dives are organised from the on-site PADI 5 star, IDC centre. They offer a range of courses from ´Discover Scuba´ through to Dive Master. After your day´s diving, join fellow divers at the Tropical Beach Bar. The raised deck provides stunning views across the beach and is the prefect location for an evening sundowner.
