You will be met at the airport and transferred to Gansbaai, then spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Your local dive centre will pick you up from the lodge and transfer you to the boat. Separating Geyser and Dyer Islands is a channel of water aptly named "Shark Alley", arguably THE prime spot in the world for encountering great white sharks. Imagine dropping into a cage in the cool waters of the Atlantic Ocean to be faced by the most infamous predator, the great white shark!

After the excitement of your 2 days of cage diving spend a day exploring Cape Town. Why not take the cable car up Table Mountain, explore Cape Point or shop at the waterfront?
The next stop is Aliwal Shoal, renowned among divers for the adrenaline rush of its surf launches. During the winter months ragged tooth sharks are resident on the reef whereas Zambezi and hammerheads are found during the summer. In addition to the sharks, there is wreck and reef diving available.

Today promises to be the highlight for most divers - tiger sharks without a cage! As if that was not enough, expect blacktip or dusky sharks to be competing for your attention during this exhilarating dive. No matter which direction you turn there will be sharks everywhere and most within arms reach! This is truly an amazing diving experience.

The next 2 days are spent at Protea Banks which are deep blue dives, where hanging in the water you could encounter Zambezi, hammerhead, blacktip, or ragged tooth sharks.

Finally enjoy the local activities. Maybe take a trip to Oribi Gorge for some white water rafting. Alternatively, relax on the beaches, or take a trip to the aquarium in Durban.
