This two island trip allows divers to spend a little more time diving and exploring these two complementary islands.

You will be met at Dar es Salaam airport by one of our representatives who will assist you to board the light aircraft to Mafia Island. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your lodge.

The island has not experienced the same level of tourism as Zanzibar and this is reflected in the ambiance of the island. There is a very relaxed pace of life and by the time you leave you will fully understand the swahili term "pole pole" - meaning slowly slowly.

All of the lodges offering diving are located on the south eastern side of the island near Chole Bay - Mafia Island&quo;s Marine Sanctuary.

Mafia Island Lodge is the best value for money lodge on the island and has a well run dive centre.

For something a little out of the ordinary try Chole Minji. These newly built tree houses offer a totally different living experience to other resorts! The local knowledge of the two dive instructors is impressive and together they run a very professional dive operation.

On your 9th day, catch a light aircraft flight to Zanzibar and transfer to the resort of your choice. Zanzibar offers a mixture of great diving and varied sight seeing. There are five days of diving, but we recommend that you also explore the island. Guided tours can take you to the narrow, meandering streets of Stone Town, where you can marvel at the Arabic architecture and the world famous Zanzibar carved doors or take a trip to the spice plantations and try the local cuisine.
At the end of your trip, you will be taken to airport to catch your flight home.
