There is something very magical about going on safari. The first time you see lions make a kill or giraffe roaming the plains, you will be lost for words and the memories will stay with you for ever. This feeling never leaves you and each time you head into the bush you never know quite what you are going to find. One of the most impressive landscapes in Africa must be the open plains of the Serengeti and Masai Mara which are home to the annual migration. Visit this reserve to see thousands of wildebeest and zebra moving across the grassland in search of fresh green grass whilst being pursued by hungry predators.

If you are interested in ´big cats´ then Sabi Sands on the edge of Kruger is a must. This is undoubtedly the best place in the world to view leopards and the luxury lodges are perfect for honeymoons and romantic getaways.

The last couple of years has seen game reserves opening up in Mozambique. The civil war decimated the animal population but it is now beginning to return. Fences between neighbouring countries are being taken down to create one giant Transfrontier Park that will once again allow the animals to roam freely and so establish old migration routes.

No trip to Africa would be complete without a safari and we highly recommend adding an extra few days to the end of your diving to visit one of the game reserves. The following bush and beach selection can be tailored to your needs, so please visit our new itinerary builder on the website or speak to one of our consultants.
